Almost every operator running a scheduling system also runs something else for training. A spreadsheet, a shared doc, a laminated grid in the office. It exists because the scheduler answers hours and the training question is a different question, and it decays for the reason every side-document decays: keeping it current is nobody's actual job.
The fix is not another place to type names. It is a system that takes the roster you already have and makes the training record a by-product of the training you were already doing.

Does HotSchedules track station training?
HotSchedules is scheduling and labour software. It knows who is on, what they cost and when they clocked in. It is not built to hold a per-station record of what each person has been trained on and how well they did it, which is why plenty of operators running it still keep a training spreadsheet on the side. CrewSharp is built to be that record and to read your HotSchedules roster so you are not maintaining two.
How do I import my roster from HotSchedules?
Run the Extended Schedule Report in HotSchedules and upload the file to CrewSharp. Names are matched to your roster automatically, and anyone new comes in as a new team member. A plain spreadsheet works too if you would rather export it yourself.
Do I have to stop using HotSchedules?
No, and you should not. CrewSharp does not do scheduling, labour forecasting or time and attendance. It sits on top: you keep publishing the schedule where you publish it, and CrewSharp answers what each of those people can actually run.
How often do I need to re-import?
Whenever the roster changes meaningfully. The schedule import is how the planner knows who is on which day, so operators typically bring in the new week when they publish it. Re-importing matches to existing people rather than creating duplicates.
What if somebody appears twice?
Matching is on the roster record rather than on an email, so re-inviting or re-importing someone reattaches them to their existing history instead of minting a second person with zero evaluations. Members you never want imported can be flagged to be ignored.
